Mrs. Moser sent in this wonderful update to share with the community:

“This is the first overnight camp our 6th graders have done for several years. With the help of Kama Almasi and Kara Allan, the LCSD Teachers on Special Assignment, we went camping at Baker in Florence, right on Siltcoos Lake. The kids stayed two nights and three days. We stopped on the way at Heceta Head to see the lighthouse, learn the history, and identify several plants and trees on the trails. At camp, we were able to do the climbing wall, archery, water sampling, dissected owl pellets, did some stewardship work, along with several games, songs, and skits. Tuesday night we were surprised at the campfire with fire dancers!”

Mrs. Moser and Mrs. Forsee shared some fun images from the Crestview Heights Elementary Outdoor School which took place earlier this month.
