This week we studied Digital Citizenship in the Media Center during specials. Students learned about privacy and security while they are online. We also enjoyed pumpkin smoothies from OSU’s Extension’s Food Hero Tasting Tables. This message is from the Kindergarten Team: “This year we have had the wonderful opportunity to partner with Seashore Family Literacy. We were hosted in October for our Family Cookie Book launch party. We walked through the JOY Garden that day to see what was growing. On Friday, Dec. 13 we visited the JOY Garden to explore what plants look like in the winter. We gathered leaves to investigate over the new week to see if they are really “dead” or just dormant for the winter months. We would also like to sincerely thank the volunteers who always treat us to a healthy snack, live music, and a welcome that our students will remember for years to come. The green coats you’ll see on our students on every field trip were generously donated by Columbia Sportswear.”
